Located at the base of the Sawtooth Mountains makes this rink truly magical. Natural ice at it’s finest. The Stanley Ice Rink was established in 2003. It has been improved over the years with a donated Zamboni and lights. Our skating season runs December to March depending on weather. Anyone is welcome to use the rink. We have some donated skates, sticks, helmets and pucks for community use.

  • The rink is open 10am-5pm during the winter season when it is cold enough to have ice.

    Mondays- Stanley school skate 1-2pm

  • It’s free! We also have some sticks, skates, and helmets for community use.

Directions

The Stanley Ice rink is located by the airport. Head south on Wall Street. Wall Street turns into Airport Road. Take a left on Airport road at the top of the hill. The rink is located on the left (across from the meditation chapel). The hill getting to the rink is steep and usually icy. Please be prepared and use 4-wheel drive if available.

 

Rink Courtesies

  • If you borrow equipment- please put it back where you found it.

  • Pack it in- pack it out.

  • If the rink has soft ice or is slushy- DO NOT skate on it! It will ruin the ice.

  • The rink is for everyone, please share the ice.
